Best Albums of 1997
This is a list of albums that I consider the best that came out this year. Unlike most, I do not write huge lists and try to keep the lists as condenced as possible and suitably eclectic when it comes to different genres. These albums are listed in no particular order.
- Tiamat - A Deeper Kind of Slumber
Hauntingly introspective and melancholic masterpiece from this band. An unexpected step in the musical landscape, that is certain, but a very successful one. Tiamat have reached their peak on this release.
